The revised deadline for bid submissions is now set for June 30, 2025, according to an official release.

Originally floated on June 7, 2024, the tender falls under Tranche I of Mode 2A of the Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition (SIGHT) Scheme. The initiative seeks to facilitate the annual production and supply of 724,000 metric tonnes of green ammonia to 13 designated fertiliser plants across the country.

SECI, a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, is the designated implementing agency. It will aggregate demand and sign 10-year long-term offtake agreements with selected producers to ensure commercial viability and support the development of a robust market for green hydrogen derivatives.

Interested parties can find additional details and tender documents on the SECI official website at https://www.seci.co.in/tenders.
