Siddique is new TN Finance Secretary

The new government in Tamil Nadu led by Joseph Vijay has announced a minor shuffle in the State bureaucracy.

M.A. Siddique, Managing Director, Chennai Metro Rail Limited, is transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Finance Department, according to a government order.

N Muruganandam, who was the Chief Secretary during the DMK regime, is posted as Additional Chief Secretary / Commissioner of Revenue Administration and Disaster Management.

S Swarna has been appointed as the Principal Secretary to Government, Tourism, Culture and Religious Endowments Department.

The services of K. Nanthakumar are placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation (TASMAC) for appointment as its Managing Director.

Dr. A. Annadurai, Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation, is transferred and posted as Secretary-III to Chief Minister.

V. Vishnu,  Additional Secretary to Government, Special Programme Implementation Department, is transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to Chief Minister in the cadre post.
