TASE acquires US firm

Chennai-based Trusted Aerospace Engineering (TASE Global) has expanded its manufacturing footprint in the US by acquiring Joined Alloys of the USA for Rs 106 crore.

This acquisition has enabled TASE to expand its areas of work into precision metal assembly. It will soon be working on plans to establish these capabilities in India.

Addressing a press conference in Chennai on Tuesday, Sankararaman Vaidyanathan, Chairman, TASE Global, said, “Currently, both the companies generate revenue of USD 32 million. By Next year, both these companies together would generate revenue of USD 45 million. Three years down the line, TASE would reach USD 100 million,” he said.

“The acquisition is part of our forward integration process, which unlocks synergies in aerospace manufacturing, defence and medical applications, allowing us to pursue more ambitious projects across industries. TASE Global shall be an end-to-end strategic partner to large Tier-1 players,” he said.

The company has two state-of-the-art facilities in Chennai, three advanced facilities in Phoenix, Arizona, and offices in Toulouse and Portugal.

The company specializes in precision machining, heat treatment, brazing, welding, sheet metal fabrication and supply chain management.

The company currently operates with an annual global machining capacity of 1.2 million hours and adding capacity of135000 hours/year built in India.

The TASE factory at Sriperumbudur is currently working on a brownfield expansion with a capex programme of Rs 150 crore.  This is expected to be operational during FY 2025-26. TASE also aims to invest additional capital in the next three years for large component machining, aero-structure and additional capabilities in India.

As a testament to TASE’s commitment to nature, TASE plans to build the capability to work on large aero structure components and a world-class surface treatment facility, which is under construction with zero liquid discharge.
