“Market for processed glass is growing multiple folds. Glass manufacturers like Saint-Gobain have been introducing new attributes and USPs in the usage of glass. The close cooperation between the glass manufacturer and a glass processor helps to get the best out of the growing demand. Fuso and Saint-Gobain association exemplifies this,” said Ashok Jain, Managing Director, Fuso Glass India Pvt. Ltd.
Fuso, a leading glass processor, has three sophisticated plants at Chennai, Hyderabad and Mumbai. Fuso caters to the Indian and global markets.
Jain mentioned the extensive training provided by Saint-Gobain on systems and marketing, especially on new products launched from time to time. “Saint-Gobain has also been conducting regular auditing of Fuso’s plants and processes. We have been receiving high star-rated certificates.” Jain made a special reference to Fuso and Saint-Gobain teams working together to provide perfect glass solutions to projects. “These have been of great help in expanding our operations from the initial Chennai to three locations,” he said. The company won the Best Glass Processor Award from Messe Dusseldorf and other awards for innovation.
