With strategic investments across precision agriculture, drones, geospatial intelligence, footwear manufacturing, design education and advanced technologies, KICL is building a diversified platform designed to create a long-term value while contributing to India’s economic growth and employment generation, the company said in a statement filed with the stock exchange.

KICL’s Fertilizers & Agro Division has been serving Indian agriculture since 1962 and today operates fertilizer blending facilities at Trichy, Vellore and Madurai, supported by a strong dealer network across Tamil Nadu.
The company manufactures customized fertilizer mixtures for diverse crops and markets a growing portfolio of specialty nutrients, bio-fertilizers, bio-stimulants, micronutrients, neem-based products and crop protection solutions.
KICL is also actively exploring strategic international partnerships and investment opportunities in fertilizer manufacturing and raw material sourcing, including discussions with partners in Qatar and Algeria, to strengthen tong-term supply security and support future growth.
The company is also currently developing a pioneering farmer identity-Linked Precision Agriculture Platform, which will integrate Farmer identity and landholding information, survey number and geo-spatial land records among others and enable farmers to receive highly customized recommendations based on their crop, soil condition, location and nutrient requirements.
The initiative is expected to transform KICL from a conventional agri-input supplier into a technology-enabled agricultural intelligence company.
KICL’s Drone & Geospatial Division currently undertakes large-scale drone surveys and geospatial projects across multiple states in India.
The division executes infrastructure mapping assignments for the National Highways Authority of India, covering thousands of kilometers of highway corridors annually, among other projects.
KICL is also expanding the use of agricultural drones for precision spraying of fertilizers, micronutrients, bio-stimulants, and crop protection products, helping farmers improve efficiency while reducing input costs and environmental impact.
The company is also investing in the development and manufacture of indigenous drone platforms and is also exploring partnerships for establishing a drone manufacturing facility focused on both civilian and strategic applications, including advanced autonomous and defence-oriented drone platforms.
KICL said it aims to significantly expand revenues from both the Agriculture and Drone businesses over the coming years.
Under its food services portfolio, it operates multiple food and hospitality brands including Una Villa Restaurant & Bakery, Una Villa Traditional, and Pattukkottai Mess.
The company has established three centralized kitchens that serve large-scale institutional and industrial catering requirements.
KICL said it is actively expanding its facility management business by providing integrated support services for industrial, commercial and institutional. establishments.
The facility management division currently provides employment opportunities to more than 1,000 personnel deployed across various client locations and industrial establishments.
The company has established its own Logistics and transportation operations through Praveen Roadways, which forms an integral part of the Group’s diversified business portfolio.
KICL’s footwear strategy is built on five pillars: creating employment opportunities-particularly for women from underprivileged communities; partnering with Indian manufacturers to serve global brands; building domestic and international brands; promoting design education; and developing industry-ready skills.
The company has formed Joint Venture with Taiwan’s Evervan Shoe Town Group and have established two world-class footwear manufacturing facilities in Tamil Nadu.
The first manufacturing factory in Perambalur is operational and making footwear for global footwear giant Crocs.
The second facility located in Karur will commence production in July 2026 and make products for Adidas.
Both projects have been executed in record time and will together create a manufacturing capacity of nearly 80 million pairs annually, generating large-scale employment and export opportunities, the company said.
KICL is also supporting Indian factories Aldo and GAS by providing technology, product development and systems and discussions are under way with global brands to expand the business, it said.
The company holds a 30-year licence for the iconic Kickers brand across nine countries, including India. Kickers brand is aimed at Gen Z consumers and, within just one year, has opened five exclusive stores and established presence in nearly 100 multi-brand outlets.
The objective is expanding both the retail footprint and introducing the world-famous Kickers Kids range, it said.
The company has also acquired the Zodiz and Jeetlo brands, which are available through more than 2,500 retail outlets across India. The objective is to expand pan-lndia and be present in a minimum of 15,000-20,000 retail stores by 2030, it said.
KICL said it is bringing global expertise to India through a proposed Joint Venture with ltaly’s IUAD to offer world-class design education from August 2026.
The company has also signed an MoU with DOTE, Tamil Nadu, and partnered with leading institutions from ltaly, Spain, and France to enhance footwear-related skills for students and professionals.
KICL aims to contribute at least 10 per cent of India’s footwear exports by 2030 and help establish India as Leading global footwear manufacturing and design hub.
