The current network of fast-charging stations is strategically located across major cities such as Gurugram, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Chennai, as well as on key national highways including Delhi–Chandigarh, Delhi–Jaipur, Mumbai–Pune, and Bengaluru–Pune. Many of these stations are co-located with customer-friendly amenities like restaurants, cafés, and shopping hubs, and feature 24/7 CCTV surveillance, on-ground marshals during peak hours, and uptime reliability exceeding 97%, according to a statement.
“We’re building a comprehensive EV ecosystem that provides seamless charging access across highways, urban centers, and dealerships,” said Jae Wan Ryu, Function Head – Corporate Planning, HMIL.
The infrastructure features advanced charging configurations, including DC 150 kW, DC 60 kW, and DC 30 kW chargers, catering to a wide range of EVs. In a tech-first move, Hyundai has also enabled in-car EV charging payments through its Hyundai Pay platform, with more than 1,200 chargers currently integrated into the system.
The myHyundai app enhances user convenience by offering discovery, booking, and secure digital payments across HMIL’s own and partner Charge Point Operator (CPO) networks. In addition, Hyundai offers end-to-end home charging solutions with every EV purchase, allowing customers to choose between 7.4 kW and 11 kW connected home chargers.
To expand accessibility, Hyundai has forged strategic partnerships with leading CPOs, giving customers access to more than 20,000 charging points via the myHyundai app.
As part of its growing charging infrastructure, HMIL’s network has delivered over 2.3 million units of clean energy through 1.8 lakh+ charging sessions, serving both B2C and B2B customers. This has helped prevent more than 1.6 million kilograms of tailpipe CO₂ emissions, aligning with Hyundai’s sustainability goals.
Regionally, Hyundai is placing a strong emphasis on Tamil Nadu, where it has committed to installing 100 fast chargers to promote green mobility. Currently, 16 stations are operational, with the number expected to reach 30 by the end of 2025. This initiative complements Hyundai’s substantial manufacturing and R&D presence in the state.
Hyundai’s EV expansion is supported by a robust retail network, comprising 542 sales outlets across 238 cities as of August 2025. This infrastructure underpins the growing adoption of its EV models, including the IONIQ 5 and the upcoming Creta Electric, as part of its long-term vision for a cleaner, electrified future in India.
