Andhra Pradesh – A summit on happy cities
With the active participation of the state government we organised major programmes like Happy Cities Summit, Aquabiz 2018, Energy Innovation Summit and Symposium on Corrosion Management. Organised state-specific road shows for promoting the state at the World Economic Fourm. The Indian Women Network (IWN) chapter achieved its objective of inclusive growth.
Karnataka Towards inclusive growth
Worked closely with the state government in charting the logistics policy for the state. Hosted the 14th edition of India Innovation Summit along with the state government. Organised a workshop on Artificial Intelligence and exhibition to showcase innovations across several sectors.
Kerala Focus on medical tourism
Provided relief and rehabilitation to Kerala flood victims. Start ups were provided mentoring support
Took business delegations abroad to promote medical tourism. Conducted “Advantage Kerala” providing benefits to investors.
Puducherry Identifying young talent
Several interactive sessions, awareness and training programmes were organised to help industry and members. Organised talent programmes to identify young talents that provided exposure on various skill sets. CII was part of Committee on Smart Mobility to work on Electric Vehicle Policy.
Tamil Nadu Competitive Tamil Nadu
Partnered with the state government in organising the Global Investors’ Meet 2019 that facilitated investments. Made several recommendations to the state government, on stamp duty, airport development, GST refunds, clearing of DTCP approvals…
Telangana Reimaging Telangana
Assisted the state government in presenting its recommendations to the 15th Finance Commission. Complemented the state’s efforts in formulating agendas, representations and recommendations for creating a conducive environment for industry. Facilitated the participation of the government at the World Economic Forum 2019.
