Renault Group officials meet TN CM

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay on Monday met Stephane Deblaise, CEO, Renault Group in India and other industrialists at the Secretariat.

At the meeting, discussions were held about Renault’s current operations and its future plans, an official release said.

Vijay assured all support to Renault and requested the company to make continued investments in the State.

The Chief Minister also met P.R.Venketrama Raja, Chairman, Ramco Group.

A discussion was held on Ramco Group’s current operations and its future plans. The Chief Minister requested Ramco to further strengthen its presence in the State.

 

 

A delegation from Madras Chamber of Commerce & Industries (MCCI) also met Vijay.

A discussion was held on ease of doing business and boosting industrial and economic growth.

Vijay assured that the suggestions made by MCCI would be considered and taken up.

MCCI delegation was led by its President Ramkumar Shankar and its Vice-President Vish Viswanathan and Secretary-General Saraswathi K.

“Chief Minister’s resolve and determination to keep Tamil Nadu’s flag flying high on the industrial firmament came through loud and clear. We assured him of the unstinted support of The Madras Chamber of Commerce and Industry to help the state take giant leaps forward in trade and industry,” Ramkumar Shankar said in a Linkedin post.

Vijay also met a delegation led by GSK Velu, Chairman of The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) Tamil Nadu State Counci,l and discussed measures to speed up the industrial growth and investments. He also assured that FICCI’s suggestions would be considered.
